Posted on 05 May 2017 by Rolf Behrens, Images by MTU

Wherever there are tracks in the British Isles, MTU rail drive systems deliver the power for locomotives and railcars.

In high-speed trains between London and Wales, in Northern Ireland’s regional trains and in a night train in Scotland: Wherever there are tracks in the British Isles, MTU rail drive systems deliver the power for locomotives and railcars. Between now and 2019 this figure is to rise to more than 1,500 with the introduction of the IEP’s high-speed trains and other new rollingstock.
