For the tenth time in a row, Rolls-Royce Power Systems has gained the “Top Employer” award for pursuing HR policies which are truly fit for the future. “We want to win over highly trained and qualified experts to help us drive the mobility and energy revolution onwards and upwards with our products. That means offering an attractive working environment, flexible hours and mobile working arrangements,” said Marcus A. Wassenberg, CFO and HR Director at Rolls-Royce Power Systems. With HR policies focusing on employee needs, Rolls-Royce Power Systems has created a productive, feel-good working environment for a thriving workforce. These include opportunities for developing skills and career advancement, and other benefits such as health promotion schemes.

Before awarding the 'Top Employer' accolade, the Top Employers Institute not only considers a company's talent management strategy, personnel planning, employee development and training, employee performance management, management development, career and succession planning, remuneration and benefits, but also corporate culture and innovation. This year, the organization honored 1300 Top Employers from 115 countries around the world. HR efforts in talent management, corporate culture and personnel management at Rolls-Royce Power Systems reaped special praise. This not only makes Rolls-Royce Power Systems one of Germany's 'Top Employers' for 2019, but also a 'Top Engineering Employer' for its focus on recruiting new talent in the technical fields. And, once again, Rolls-Royce Power Systems was also judged to be a 'Fair Company' in terms of working conditions and opportunities offered to interns. Rolls-Royce Power Systems has a 10,000-strong workforce around the globe, with 5,500 employees based in Friedrichshafen alone. The company has a number of vacancies especially for electrical and electronic engineers and experts in digital technology but is also looking to bolster on-site production capacity.
