Thanks to their outstanding durability, mtu engines have been used for decades in diesel-electric, diesel-mechanical, and diesel-hydraulic drive applications to power a wide range of well service equipment. By incorporating advanced mtu emissions reduction technologies such as exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and common rail injection, Series 4000 engines fully satisfy EPA Tier 4 emission standards, even without an exhaust gas aftertreatment system.
