Application process
Step 1 - Pupil internship
Find out about our various apprenticeships during a pupil internship and gain an initial insight into the training and our company.
Step 2 - Online application
You can easily apply to us via our online portal. We require your cover letter, CV and your last three references. Additional certificates are welcome (if you wish).
Step 3 - Aptitude test
After reviewing your application documents and depending on the job profile, we will invite you to take part in our aptitude test.
Step 4 - Interview
Convince us of your personality and motivation in a personal interview.
Step 5 - Acceptance and contract signing
After successful selection, you will receive your acceptance and apprenticeship contract.

Vocational Training Opportunities
As office management assistant it will be your job to ensure in a fast-paced business environment that no deadlines or appointments are forgotten. You will receive thorough training in all the key office management tasks – including international correspondence, organizing business trips, coordinating processes and setting up meetings. You will attend courses in business English as well as French or Spanish and will also enhance your language skills during an internship spanning several weeks in another European country. After 2.5 years, you will also be able to sit the foreign language correspondent exam.
Preferably, you will have the following:
- a general certificate of education or higher
- an aptitude for coordination and organization
- confidence in handling both text and figures
- a good command of English
- knowledge of French or Spanish would be an advantage
Duration of training:
- 2.5 years
As industrial management assistant you will be a much-needed all-rounder in a busy business environment. Your duties will include negotiating quotations with suppliers, tracking the progress of outstanding orders, issuing invoices and calculating personnel costs. During your training course you will choose your personal area of specialty. An additional qualification in international business management with foreign languages which includes courses in business English and French and several weeks working abroad, will round off your training profile.
Preferably, you will have the following:
- a higher education entrance qualification
- a keen interest in economic and business issues
- confidence in handling both text and figures
- a good command of English
Duration of training:
- 2.5 years (shorter training period)
As a social security specialist you serve the members of our company health insurance scheme (BKK) and will be the person to contact for all matters relating to social security and health insurance. You will attend the BKK Academy in Rotenburg an der Fulda to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge. The practical part of training takes place in our company health insurance offices, and also includes training in service and communication systems.
Preferably, you will have the following:
- general certificate of education or higher education entrance qualification
- an open mindset and good people skills
- an interest in social legislation and economic processes
- a talent for organization
- a high level of commitment and an independent approach to work
Duration of training:
- 3 years
As a warehouse logistics expert you will carry out practical tasks in our many logistical sections and will also perform administrative tasks in the office. You will ensure proper storage of goods, order materials, plan delivery assignments and contribute to optimizing our logistics processes. From incoming goods to determining key figures and effecting shipments, your training at Rolls-Royce Power Systems will make you an expert in all aspects of warehouse organization and management.
Preferably, you will have the following:
- a good school-leaving certificate
- minimum age of 17 years at the start of the apprenticeship
- a keen interest in logistics processes
- a talent for organization
- a high level of commitment and an independent approach to work
Duration of training:
- 3 years
