Marcus A. Wassenberg to withdraw from Rolls-Royce Power Systems Board of Management

Marcus A. Wassenberg, Chief Financial Officer and Labour Director of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, has asked the Supervisory Board to release him from his position effective April 15, 2019 due to private reasons.

Chairman of the Supervisory Board Axel Arendt says: "We very much regret this decision. We explicitly thank Marcus A. Wassenberg for his contribution to the economic and strategic development of Rolls-Royce Power Systems. The successful transformation of the company, which is also reflected in the past record year 2018, is closely linked to his work over the past five years. As a member of the Board of Management, he was significantly instrumental in shaping the RRPS 2018 program, the development of the PS 2030 strategy and the agreement on employment protection (SUB) jointly negotiated with the works council and trade union IG Metall. We wish him all the best for his professional and private future."
