Johannes Jerg is joining the Rolls-Royce communications team with immediate effect and will serve as Content Lead External Communications in the Brand, Marketing & Corporate Communications department of the Power Systems division. In this role, he will report to Jacqueline Casini, SVP Brand, Marketing & Corporate Communications, and will be responsible for external communications, the company's positioning and corporate messaging as press spokesperson. He succeeds Wolfgang Boller, who will be entering the passive phase of partial retirement at the end of the year. Over the coming weeks, Johannes Jerg will work closely with Wolfgang Boller to familiarise himself with Rolls-Royce and the Power Systems business in order to ensure a seamless handover.

Before joining Rolls-Royce, Johannes Jerg was press spokesman at the technology group ZF, where he was responsible for electric mobility and artificial intelligence. In 2024, the trade journal PR Report named him one of the "30 under 30" in the communications industry – and also named him "Young Professional of the Year".

"In Johannes Jerg, we are gaining an experienced communicator who combines strategic thinking with a modern, integrated understanding of communication," says Jacqueline Casini. "Together, we want to focus our communication even more strongly on impact and continue to position Rolls-Royce, with its mtu product and solution brand, as the world's leading provider of integrated energy and propulsion systems."
