ROLLS-ROYCE SHOWCASES GAS GENSETS FROM mtu ONSITE ENERGY AT ENERGY DECENTRAL TRADE FAIR

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN/ HANOVER, GERMANY – Rolls-Royce will be showcasing its complete gas genset portfolio carrying the mtu Onsite Energy brand at Energy Decentral (hall 22, booth B14). The international trade fair for innovative power takes place in Hanover from 11 to 14 November. The mtu Onsite Energy brand is part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems within the Land & Sea division of Rolls-Royce.

The Energy Decentral trade fair – part of the larger world trade show Eurotier for livestock farming – focuses on power generation using regenerative energies. For harnessing biogas in the agricultural segment, mtu Onsite Energy supplies its Series 400 and 4000 engines covering electrical power outputs from 180 to 2,000 kW.

Its advanced version Series 4000 engines for biogas gensets are available with 8, 12, 16 or 20 cylinders and cover power outputs from 776 to 1,948 kW. The Series 4000 biogas engine is now capable of 42.5 % to 43.3 % electrical efficiency.

For customers interested in industrial or local-community applications, Rolls-Royce is also showcasing its mtu Series 400 and Series 4000 gensets for natural gas with electrical outputs from 120 to 2,500 kW.
