Find mtu at world’s leading exhibition for agricultural machinery and equipment from 8 to 14 November 2015 in hall 17 at booth D09.

mtu's stand at Agritechnica features 4R 1000, 6R 1300, 6R 1500 and 10V 1600 units. Series 1000 to 1500 engines are based on Daimler commercial vehicle units and are currently undergoing advanced development by mtu and Daimler for EU Stage V. mtu Series 1600 units are available in a range from 567 to 736 kW.

mtu Series 4R 1000

mtu’s 4R 1000 engines for the future EU Stage V emissions regulations will
cover a power range from 100 to 170 kW. mtu Series 1000, 1100, 1300 and 1500 engines currently meet EPA Tier 4 regulations as well as EU Stage IV emissions requirements in place since 2014.

mtu Series 6R 1300

mtu’s Series 1300 engines for the future EU Stage V emissions regulations will cover a power range from 320 to 390 kW.

The 4 and 6-cylinder in-line Series 1000 units and the 6-cylinder in-line 1100, 1300 and 1500 units are used to power agricultural and forestry machines – including, in particular, combine harvesters, maize choppers, large tractors, beet lifters, self-propelled field sprayers, timber shredders and tree harvesters.

mtu Series 1500

mtu’s Series 1500 engines for the future EU Stage V emissions regulations will cover a power range from 400 to 480 kW. Taking Daimler commercial vehicle engines as a basis, mtu and Daimler will jointly develop units that comply with the EU Stage V off-highway emissions standard. These engines are to be available well ahead of the launching of the new EU Stage V emissions standard scheduled for 2019.

mtu Series 1600

The mtu stand also features a 10V 1600 engine specially designed for agricultural vehicles and machines with high power requirements such as forage harvesters and log splitters.

mtu Series 1600 units comply with both US EPA Tier 4 specifications and the projected EU Stage V regulations using in-engine technology only. No exhaust gas aftertreatment systems are required.
