Reference project: Symmetry Park Biggleswade

We have partnered with BasePower to provide a comprehensive microgrid solution covering three mtu Series 4000 Combined Heat & Power (CHP) plants, two mtu EnergyPack QL battery storage containers, and two mtu Series 2000 standby generators. A central smart microgrid control system orchestrated the seamless operation of each component asset.

Scope

BasePower led the detailed work, procurement, construction, and commissioning. The microgrid included rooftop photovoltaic panels, connecting to the smart microgrid control system. We included ongoing support through a five-year mtu ValueCare Agreement, ensuring 24/7 access to a team of engineers.
