Four Rolls-Royce graduates honoured with IHK awards

  • 41 apprentices complete training at Rolls-Royce Power Systems

41 apprentices from the Power Systems division of Rolls-Royce in Friedrichshafen wrote their final exams in recent weeks and successfully completed their training. The graduates include twelve industrial mechanics, eight metal technology specialists, two construction mechanics, one electronics technician for automation technology as well as ten mechatronics technicians, one technical product designer, one IT specialist specialising in application development, two warehouse specialists, three warehouse logistics specialists and one social insurance employee.

Among the graduates are also four IHK award winners: Dennis Heuchert, Tobias Kohli, Niklas Durst and René Martin were honoured by the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Chamber of Industry and Commerce for their particularly outstanding achievements.    

Chief People Officer and Labour Director Dr. Thelse Godewerth congratulated all former apprentices at the certificate presentation: "It is impressive what you have achieved and accomplished in the past years under really challenging circumstances. I am pleased to still meet many of you at Power Systems and wish you all the best, much success and joy on your professional and personal path."

Achim Zinser, deputy chairman of the works council, said: "You have taken a big step and can be proud of yourself. Congratulations on your graduation and all the best and enjoy your start in professional life. "
