Rolls-Royce Power Systems extends Dr Andreas Strecker's contract as Chief Financial Officer ahead of schedule

Dr Andreas Strecker will continue to be responsible for finance, IT and procurement at Rolls-Royce's Power Systems division, with its mtu brand. The Supervisory Board has now extended Andreas Strecker's contract ahead of schedule until 29 February 2028. Andreas Strecker will also remain Managing Director of the largest subsidiary Rolls-Royce Solutions GmbH.
Jasmin Staiblin, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board said: “The financial success of Rolls-Royce Power Systems is also the result of strict cost management and commercial optimisation, which Andreas Strecker has stood for since taking office in December 2022. Andreas Strecker is a leader with a wealth of global experience. He ensures that our finance department and all the functions for which he is responsible are set up professionally. In doing so, he is creating the basis and prerequisites for driving forward the transformation of our division. We look forward to continuing our successful and trusting collaboration with Andreas Strecker.”
Thomas Bittelmeyer, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said: “As employee representatives on the Supervisory Board we supported the extension of Andreas Strecker's contract. With his experience and expertise, he has contributed to the stability of the company and, above all, he understands the decisive contribution that employees make to the company's economic success.”
Andreas Strecker said: “Together, we have achieved very good results in the Power Systems division. I would like to continue this. That is why I am very much looking forward to continuing my successful collaboration on the Executive Board with Dr Jörg Stratmann and Dr Thelse Godewerth and with the entire team. The trust placed in me by the Supervisory Board of Rolls-Royce Power Systems is not only a reason for thanks, but also an incentive to continue on the transformation course we have embarked on.”
